It has been a long road waiting....
We are pregnant! Yes it is very early still but I think almost everyone knows that we are going through the very long and trying process of IVF (in-vitro fertilization). It has basically consumed our whole summer. All the shots, crazy hormones, bloat, craziness and driving (our doctor is in Ann Arbor).
We are thrilled and can not wait to have our ultrasound in two weeks to find out if we are having one or two. You can vote at the top and here is something to base your decision on:
When the pregnancy blood test comes back, they say 50 is considered a viable pregnancy. Most of the beta numbers I have read about are anywhere from 50 to 200ish. They also want your beta number to double within 48-72 hours. My betas were as follows:
beta 1: 401
beta 2: 921 (48 hours later)
beta 3: 1,912 (48 hours later)

GET OUT!!! Congrats! Lets say I have a friend that just had twins and she would tell you to pray for 1 baby, ha ha! She said her new name is Zombie! I told her welcome to motherhood, that is the case with any amount of baby in the house!
I am voting but I will also tell you I am going with 2 babies. 1 of each. That seems to be the thing lately!
Congratulations Sarah & Kevin! That's such EXCITING news! I know you have really been through a lot and praying for this to happen for a long time. I have to say, at my age, I'm hoping for the twins route. It's definitely the new craze! Congrats again & get lots of rest!
Yay!!! I am so happy for you guys! You must be absolutely THRILLED! I hope you're feeling well and can't wait to hear more updates. :)
Yippee.....So happy for you guys!!!
