Kevin has been up since about 3 this morning trying to get comfortable because his knee is bothering him. It looks like it did before the surgery. And there is so much heat coming off of it, it is like it is burning. I was getting ready this morning and he said he needs me to take him to the doctor because he doesn't think he can make it. I told him of course, no problem. A couple of minutes later I smelled smoke and at first was going to yell about him smoking in the house but then thought better of it...what am I going to make him do?! Walk down the three steps over to the garage to make him smoke?! The poor man has been up all night and in terrible pain. Too bad for him that those painkillers don't work on him. Oh, and yesterday we found out that is a family thing on the Gaffney side....huh.
Anyway, we have an appointment with his regular doctor at 8:40, a call into his surgeon, and Joe, my brother's friend who is a physical therapist, is calling a surgeon he knows to see if Kevin can get in with him. It is a partner of Kevin's surgeon so hopefully.....I really don't want to go to the ER.
I will keep you posted!
Please keep Kevin in your thoughts today.

Weekend
Our weekend was nice. Friday night we went up and had pizza with Harold and Lisa and later played euchre. It has been forever since we have played. While we were there, I noticed Kevin's knee was visibly swollen. So much so that I could tell through his jeans. And it is really hot. You can feel the heat coming off of it.
Saturday I made him stay home and stay off his knee. It is just terrible. It helped a bit staying off of it but still. Later that night we went bowling. I was totally not into it and don't even remember the scores I got. Oopsies!
This morning and went and picked the kids up, did a little shopping at Target and went to the Gaffney Christmas over at Kevin's brother & sister-in-law's house. It was a fun time but Kevin's niece is always late so we ended up missing dessert because Tyler had to get back for work. We stopped by Steve & Melissa's later for Steve's birthday.
Busy but nice.
Oh, and the two most important things:
Kevin has a doctor appointment tomorrow morning with our regular doctor for a regular old check-up so hopefully after he sees Kevin's knee, we can get it taken care of right away.
And, possibly even more importantly, Kevin's friend, Cam, called last night with a line on the Wii. Supposedly all the Meijers were getting 30 of them in and Kevin got the 25th one at the Jenison Meijer!
WOOT WOOT!!

Update
Sorry it has been so long since I have posted. I know you all must just be waiting on the edge of your seat.
Anyway, Kevin scheduled an appointment with a different orthopedic surgeon to get a second opinion. He is no where close to back to normal and it has been three months. Geesh. Poor hubby.
I went to the doctor yesterday and I have to get a ct scan on my sinuses. I have been taking cold & sinus medicine almost every day for at least 6 months now. I know, I know. Not good. My doctor said because this has been such an ongoing problem, I have had this issue for over a year now, we might as well just get the scan done and figure out for sure what is happening instead of just guessing and hoping a prescription here and there works. He said it might be a deviated septum or my drainage passage might be too small and they would have to make it bigger. FRICK.
I called Kevin after the appointment and he said, "I wonder if your voice will change?!". I had not even thought of that. What if it does? I make people do things because of my annoying, nasally voice! What if I don't have it anymore?!

And, she has even posted since then!
Way to go Athena!

Do It!
Yesterday I was up eating lunch and I told our maintenance man, Mike, that I really wanted the carpet cleaned in the boardroom and he said there was no way, absolutely not. And certainly not this week.
While the headache from the carpet cleaner is a little nauseating, it is worth it!
Te he! And they wonder why I think I can just make people do stuff!
Seriously though, Mike has done a lot of work for me lately and it looks great and I really appreciate it. In fact, I am trying to figure out some sort of treat for him and his helpers.

Wii
Is there a conspiracy with the Nintendo Wii? We were thinking about getting it as a family gift and I assumed since it has been out for a year, it would be easy to get now. Why is it not? Is it Nintendo? Is it the stores? Is it Americans insane desire to have everything immediately and not allow others to have it because then how would they know that they are cool?! How would they know their worth?!

Chinese Thanksgiving
We had a Chinese feast for our Thanksgiving lunch at work. We also had to write what we were thankful about for each of our co-workers on a little slip of paper and I got one from our president that said:
"Thank you for your welcoming smile and response, and the creative fun you make us enjoy"
Ha ha!
And the funniest part was about 10 minutes after I told people about that, Tommy, our executive director, came back from a meeting and I said, "Deanna, make Tommy come in here and get his envelope."
Now the big thing around here is how I make people do things and why would I think I could make people do things. Here is why:
Tommy did come in and get his envelope.
Kevin came and brought me $10 today.
I just signed up for my gym membership.
Jennifer is getting us some pie right now.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Family Weekends
Another fabulous weekend!
I picked Makenzie up Friday after work and met Kevin back at my work to pain the boardroom. It was fun and I left my little mark somewhere in the room! Te he!
Tyler had to work Friday night and Saturday morning when to the EGR game with Katie and her dad so he stayed at his mom's Friday night.
Saturday, Makenzie and I went to work-out and then went and picked up my materials for my "spirit sticks" for Camille's cheerleading competitions. You will have to wait and see what I am talking about...
Saturday night we had dinner and then watched Shrek the Third. I love the drakey babies! So cute! I hope there is a straight to video knock-off for them!
Makenzie went to bed around 10:00 because her and her boyfriend broke up on Friday and we had some drama to deal with before the movie. Little girls....
Anyway, Kevin, Tyler and I watched "V for Ventetta". Some parts of it were good but there was too much violence for me.
Sunday we went to church and then went home and made pizzas and played games. We played two games of Clue, I love that game and hate that I can't play it with only 2 players, Break the Safe, Tyler didn't play that one, and then a quick round of TV Scene It.
Overall, a great weekend!
Hope you had the same!!
P.S. We are going to Mega 80's this Friday night if anyone is interested. Now that Ryan has a girlfriend, he plans all theses couple things! It is so cute! We haven't been to the show in a long time now so it should be fun. For a while there we were a little cashed out on it. I don't think we will be able to stay the whole time because of Kevin's knee but it will still be fun to the out on the town!

Holiday Time
I love Christmas music! And I love that it is on 105.7 already! People say that it is too early but I say, too early for what? For that joyful time of year when everyone is just a little more friendly and a bit happier?! Too early for the time of year when you get together with friends and loved ones to make memories?!
Too early, too smearly!
Don't try and rain on my holiday parade! I'll punch you in the throat! Ha!

Weekend
Another fabulous weekend!
Friday Kevin took the day off and cleaned our bedroom which was an absolute mess. He made dinner for us and then we just hung out for the night.
Saturday I did a little shopping and then made some brownies and caramel corn to bring to Harold and Lisa's candle party. We got up there around 6:00 and it was so much fun! We saw a couple people that we haven't seen in forever. Later, we went over to Mike & Kari's and played Catch Phrase. I definitely have to get the digital game. It is much easier for Kevin to read! Krista, you know what I am talking about. We had to make a rule that if Kevin couldn't read it right away he was allowed to switch to the next one! Te he!
Sunday we picked Makenzie up and went to the late service and then went over to Steven & Melissa's. Melissa wants to sell some baby stuff on ebay but didn't know how. She is all set up on ebay and paypal now....welcome to the internet world Melissa!

WWJD?
What Would Jesus Do?
Jesus would probably stop frantically waving his arms around as he was telling his passenger no doubt a fascinating story about this car that almost swerved and ran him off the road. He would also notice all the cars passing him in the right lane and see that the Saab that is hanging on his fish tail, would like to go faster than him but is waiting and not passing him in the right lane because the Saab has ultimate faith that this person should be allowed to drive and will in fact to the right thing and GET OVER!

My Morning Trip to Work
People, people. Come on. What is really going to happen if you are a couple of minutes late? Is the world going to end? Are you going to go straight to the fiery depths? Is your boss going to fire you? I seriously doubt it. Relax. Let Go, Let God.

Tipper
Tyler thinks it is horrifying if we talk about putting a bow in Tipper's hair or dressing her up. I have a Halloween costume we put on her again this year but only because it is hilarious, not cute. When we were at Target yesterday Kenz and I found this costume and had to get it. It is so funny!

I Love My Husband So Much!
I woke up with a nasty little headache this morning so Kevin went and got the cookies I needed to pick up for work and picked up a breakfast burrito from McD's for me. I am obsessed with those things lately.
Thank you Love!

Weekend
I love Sunday nights. Get ready for the week, thoughts of the fun weekend.
Friday night we had spaghetti with the kids and then watched Transformers. It was such a good movie! I was really surprised! And it was nice it was PG-13. None of us had seen it which was a surprise because the kids see everything in the theaters.
Saturday the kids and I just hung out for the day at home while Kevin was at work and then Tyler went to work and I took Makenzie to Dexter's for a bit.
Kevin and I watched the game...GO BLUE! What a great game huh?! No matter what side you are on, you have to admit it was an awesome game to watch!
I picked Makenzie up around 7:30 and we watched Evan Almighty. Such a cute movie! I loved it!
Tyler got home from work around 11:30, I made him an egg sandwich, and we all watched SNL for a bit.
Sunday we woke up and went to late service and then went to Target to buy gifts for our Operation Christmas Child. You pick a specific aged girl or boy and fill a shoe box full of gifts. The kids and I decided to pick the 10-14 year old boy. We figured everyone picks the little ones. There was a suggestion list so we got him: colored pencils, mechanical pencils with refills, pens, notebooks, playing cards, calculator, candy and a Tigers hat. Makenzie added a note explaining the Tigers hat and letting him know we would be thinking and praying for him. We are adding our picture and address as well.
I made some super yummy potato soup and then we all put together a puzzle. I had two poster size puzzles from Disney and while during a scene of Evan Almighty, I remembered the Lion King one with all the animals coming to see Simba. Unfortunately, I couldn't find that one but 101 Dalmatians was still fun. I could tell Kevin was a little hesitant when I suggested it but Makenzie was all in and Tyler had fun sometimes.
Tyler mentioned while we were eating that no one can eat a piece of bread in one minute because it soaks up too much saliva...Kevin and Makenzie did not believe him so they tried. I will not tell you the results, it is something fun to try. At least it is if you have teenagers...

Lonely Friday
Kevin and I have started Emailing during the day while we are at work. But today he actually took the day off and now I have no one to talk with. Especially since Athena and Jennifer aren't at work today. Boo.
Athena is never here on Fridays because she is a slacker but normally I at least have Jennifer. She had to have her gall bladder removed on Wednesday though. Thankfully, everything went well and we should have her smiling face back here next week!
I miss my hubby and my friends.

Another Halloween Party
We went over to Pat & Amy's for Halloween and it turned into a impromptu, racy party! It started out innocent enough with our cute little family photo. I will post some other pictures from later in the night when I get them sorted. What is it about wigs that change people?! It was a great time. They just got back from Fantasy Fest in Key West and Pat said he felt like they were still there. It was something else!

Halloween Party
Kyle and Heather had a Halloween party and while I was not feeling the best, there was no way I was going to miss it. I had both my brothers there with their significant others, and Kristi, Heather's neighbor was going to be there and I hadn't seen her in forever! It was so much fun!

Kevin Update
This is one post that I can scratch off my list posted earlier...
Well, Kevin's knee is still not 100%. He went to the doctor last week and they gave him a prescription anti-inflammatory that seems to be helping. The doctor told him it would be another 8 weeks or so though! Last night it was really bothering him so I told him he should go back to using two crutches. He went down to one because he felt like he should be better by now but with another 8 weeks to go, he probably shouldn't be putting all his weight on it yet.
He will see if he took my advice. He never takes it until the doctor says it 2 weeks after I do!
If only I could run the world...or at least Kevin's!

Finally!
I have so much to update about but I have been sick almost this whole week! It has been terrible. But, finally, I am feeling better. My ears are still plugged but everything else is returning to normal. You know I am definitely sick when I cancel Monday night with Krista and don't bowl on Tuesday! I should be posting some pictures soon of the past week or so. A lot happened! Here is what to look for:
Tyler & Makenzie's homecoming
My Baptism
Kevin's knee
Kyle & Heather's Halloween party
Details to follow!

Weekend
Happy October 15!
Our weekend was good.
Friday I picked Makenzie up and then stopped at home to get Kevin and headed over to On the Border. It was delicious!
After that we went home and had a long heart to heart with Makenzie. About 3 or so hours long. It was really good and after hearing her talk, apparently this needed to happen a long time ago. Her morals and values worry me. We talked a lot about her, her thoughts, her values, her convictions, her mom and us. We learned a lot of interesting things about what Kim has to say. Well, not that we really just found out but got confirmation.
We will see where it takes us. She wants to live with us but it never works because as Makenzie has told us, her mom makes her feel bad that she is leaving her. We will have to set it up for a specific timeframe and see if she still wants to stay after she has been there awhile. If so, I think we will have to look at moving to EGR.
Saturday Makenzie and I went shopping and Tyler came over and hung out with Kevin and had a little heart to heart of their own. We all had dinner and I went off to bowling. Kevin came for a little bit but then headed home after the first game. I did a little better, 120, 120 & 102. Not good but better than the crappy way I have been playing.
After bowling we convinced Heather to karoake. She really likes to sing Whitney Houston's I Will Always Love You. I was trying to explain to all of them that it really doesn't matter if you are good or not, as long as you have fun. I also explained that once the microphone is in your hand, it is crazy. And, I was right. No one had karoaked before but everyone did it. And did solos no less!
After that, we went to the pub for last call. And what a last call! A huge fight broke out throughout the whole bar. We were trapped in the corner and had to climb out over a wall to leave. I called 911 it was so bad. I mean the whole bar was fighting! They were people laid out cold all over. When we finally got out, 2 cops had just gotten there and had some people outside but then it erupted all over again in the bar. I called 911 again and told them they needed a lot more help there. They ended up pepper spraying the bar.
Seriously, it was crazy. There were young and old people fighting. I have never seen anything like it in my life and hope to never again.
Sunday we woke up and went to the late service. Our series right now is called seX games and it is really interesting. And a little unsettling because it is just so open and honest and you just don't hear the word "sex" used a ton. I love Wes, our pastor. He makes it so personal and real. I was glad the kids were there to hear a good point of view. I don't know whether they really listen or not though. They have both taken a really liking to their step-dad's athiest ways.
After church we went to Red Robin and then home to all snuggle and read the paper and watch football. Tyler went back to his mom's because while she is gone, he is taking care of their dog. The three of us took a trip later to decorate my boss' office for her big 5-0. Makenzie is such a scaredy cat. My office freaks her out. Not that I would ever be caught there alone! After that we stopped at Taco Bell, we ate terribly this week, and then just hung out while we got ready for the week. At least I sent Makenzie off with a nice, healthy lunch for today!
Anyway, this week should go by quick. Makenzie is staying with us through Wednesday and will be at my work volunteering every day after school. She is going to make a trip down the road to get a real prospective so that should be interesting! Tonight I am getting my hair done, tomorrow I am skipping bowling because I have my Baptism video shoot to do. Little nervous for that....
Anyway, have a great week!

One or the Other
For the past couple of weeks I either have Hannah Montana's theme song, Best of Both Worlds, or Kanye West's, Stronger, going through my head. And I mean trucking right through. It won't stop!
Right now it is Hannah Montana...frick.

Weekend Update
The visit last week to the doctor really helped Kevin turn that corner. The swelling has almost completely gone away now and after his visit yesterday, he can start doing leg exercises. He should be back to work next week.
Because it was his birthday on Sunday and was literally laid up on the couch, I decided to throw him a last minute surprise party. He had been talking all week about guys from his work so I figured it would do him some good. It is definitely not easy to throw a surprise party for someone who is always around! Luckily, we were having the family over on Sunday so I convinced him that all the decorations and food prep was just me getting ready early so we could have a nice day on Sunday, his actual birthday.
Sometimes I worry that I am too good of a liar! He totally bought it and was completely confused when people started "dropping by". Ha ha! It was great. It was nice to see him happy and you could really tell it did him some good. He definitely was missing his little buddies from work.
Sunday we had the kids and my family over. It is so nice when everyone gets together and it seems like those little ones just make everyone happy. It felt like I was reliving the previous day because we had a lot of the same food and Ryan, Kate (his girlfriend) and Melissa were all there Saturday too!

Knee Update
- Kevin went to the doctor today for what was originally supposed to be a 2-week follow up. The doctor drained Kevin's knee and said this happens in about 1 of 50 patients. Kevin's knee just doesn't want to be messed with. He is stuck on the couch still with it elevated and iced until Monday afternoon when he goes back. He has to stop doing the exercises he has been trying to do and walk only when necessary and only using the crutches. What a great way to spend his birthday weekend.
I think the reason Kevin and I met and are meant to be are as follows: - Kevin has "routine" knee surgery that should have him back on his feet and working after a long weekend. He is going on two weeks now.
- I tore my leg muscle last year and while most of the world tears the muscle either away from the knee or the hip and can have surgery and be up and about in a week, I tore my whole muscle right down the middle from the knee to the hip and was laid up for two months before I could even start physical therapy.
We are freaks meant to take care of each other!
Krista was over this week and commented on how we had a worn out spot on our couch from both of us being stuck laying there. Not that you could actually see it because Kevin is still laying there!

Updates
Happy Friday!
Things are good. I have been so tired trying to take care of Kevin! He is a lot of work. But worth it. While we originally thought he would be back to work by now, he is still at home on crutches. He has a doctor's appointment on Wednesday and hopefully will be back to work on Thursday. But he is still in a lot of pain and has a lot of swelling still. He is pretty disappointed today. He put a call into the surgeon's nurse so hopefully she will have some good advice.
Other than that, not much happening. I realized my fingers hurt from bowling! I can't tell if they are bruised or what but they hurt to touch and move. Not incredibly bad but enough to notice. Seriously. I can't believe that! And we have couples bowling tomorrow night. Obviously, Kevin isn't bowling but he is hoping he can come by for a little bit.
Work is going great but my boss announced that she is leaving at the end of November to move to Texas. While it might be a good opportunity to get more responsibility, I am going to miss her. What if I end up with someone worse? I am hoping to pick up a large part of her responsibility so we will see. The president, my boss, the COO and the director of HR met the other day and Diane told me it was "mandated" that I will stop working for the community relations director after Recovery Palooza and start shadowing my boss until she leaves. So that is a good sign.
Anyway, have a great weekend!

Kevin

Kevin had knee surgery this afternoon and everything went well. They found an additional tear under his kneecap so they repaired that one and the meniscus tear, took out some pieces of floating cartilage, and smoothed some bone edges. It only took about 30 minutes for the actual surgery but they still put him completely under. I of course, being the huge gay-wad that I am, cried. Te he!
He is resting on the couch now with his leg wrapped from his foot to his thigh. He is still in quite a bit of pain but I think if I can keep him on the couch with it iced and elevated, that will help.
We will see how the weekend goes!

Thanks Honey!
As part of my birthday month, Kevin bought me a watch. Today is the first day I have forgotten it and it is awful! Our phones for some reason don't keep the right time so it shows 2:01 am and our computers don't show the time because we have to be on some gaywad portal system. I don't even know what time it is right now. I hope it is at least 2:30.....oh it is 2:25! Not bad!

Catch Up
Ok so I haven't posted in quite a while. Sorry! Here is a recap of things from the past couple of weeks:
- Krista still hasn't gotten a bike helmet.
- I started my bowling league with Heather & Melissa on our team, "Can't Touch This". We have done two weeks now (we pre-bowled on Friday instead of tomorrow). Melissa got a 98, 196 and then a 90! That is crazy! I have been more consistent with everything between a 120 and 150.
- Kevin and I just committed to bowling every other Saturday with Kyle & Heather and Eric & Kristi. It worked out perfect because that is the Saturday we don't have the kids. However, that is a lot of bowling! I am already worried that my left arm will be much stronger than my right because of this and it will be noticeable!
- Kevin and I went camping for the final time at Aunt Karen's for Labor Day weekend. She is moving in October and it is going to be so hard. For her and for me. To know that she is leaving the house her and my uncle built together as their dream, crushes me. She knows she can't maintain all that land herself and that she needs to leave, but I don't think her heart is ready for it. I took a bunch of pictures that I hope to post soon for those of you not lucky enough to have seen the natural beauty.
- The kids started school last week and so far, so good! Makenzie is loving it as she always does for the first couple of weeks. Things may be different though with a chance at a cell phone dangling in front of her. I am honestly considering dangling that in front of her for the rest of high school! Tyler of course is doing well and looking forward to the fact that it is his last year. He started filling out college applications for GVSU, Western and MSU.
- Kevin's "good" knee has been bothering him for about a month now, swollen with water on it. Tuesday night he did something to it at work and started limping. Wednesday morning his knee, calf and ankle were swollen to about 3 times its normal size. Yet, he went on his guys canoe weekend! Boys! They are such dorks! I will say though that the swelling has gone down and he isn't in nearly as much pain. He is getting an MRI done tomorrow morning so hopefully, they will figure out what is wrong.
- Because Kevin was gone this weekend, I spent my second weekend ever alone! And I handled it quite well! Friday I met up with some friends at Z's, met Heather, Melissa, April, Kyle & Zachary to bowl and then headed over to Kyle & Heather's for a bit. Saturday I was lazy all morning and then started to do some major "fall" cleaning. Saturday night Steven & Melissa invited me over for dinner and I stayed there until about 11:00. I haven't seen my nephews in a while and they change so fast! Tristen can count to 100 now and rides the bus to school, Nathaniel is talking so much more now and Pierson is getting to be such a stinker. You can see it in his eyes. I will post some pictures of them soon too.
- Andrea started her new job today! Welcome to the other side Andrea! I got a quick Email from her today and so far, she was loving it! Yea!

Not To Be...yet!
Krista of course has not gotten a bike helmet yet. She thinks she will look like a dork. Everyone does but everyone still wears one! What kind of example is she setting for her children?! Please help me in my pledge to help Krista get a helmet.
Post your comments here or feel free to click on her blog's link to post a comment on her page. Whatever you think will be more annoying for her. Maybe both!
If you check out her page, you will see pictures of her beautiful smiling children. They won't be so smiley when mom's laying on the couch all day because she hurt herself riding her scooter. The Miller Lites flying out of the basket alone could be enough to lay her up for a week!
Te he!

Paper Flier
You would think with how long I have been in the corporate office field, I would have used a paper folder at some point. Nope!
Have you ever used one? They really are quite handy after you figure out you have to stop the paper from shooting out and flying all over the floor! I literally had about 100 folded letters laying all over the floor! They shoot out so fast! And make this little muffled gun shot sound. It was a little terrifying!
Guess I didn't have to be so careful about keeping them in order with the envelopes while I was signing them all!

Outdoor to Indoor Sports
Yup, summer is definitely ending! Our softball league is done and Heather has asked me to be on her bowling league. It is on the same night softball was, which is Tuesday, so it works out perfect because Kevin works until 8:00 anyway.
Our team is going to be:
Heather
Melissa (her sister, my sister-in-law)
Dona (their mom)
Me
And someone else, not sure yet who that will be.
Anyway, Heather sent me a text message this morning telling me to ask Melissa what our bowling team name was going to be and mentioned that I was going to love it....it is "Can't Touch This". Come on! I can't do that! There was got to be something better out there right?
Any suggestions?

Princess
Last night when Krista came over for our Monday nights, I showed her my new bike helmet. The deal was that if I got one, she would get one. Now of course she is saying she said she would only get one if her momma paid for it. Seriously, she fell off a scooter. Don't you think she needs a helmet?!
Anyway, I was explaining how I bought it at Target and that they had all these bright girly colors that I liked but I ended up buying the silver one because the other ones didn't match my bike. She burst out laughing! My bike is a dark teal so why would I buy a bright baby blue helmet? Shouldn't it match if possible? Or at the very least, not clash?!
Let me know your thoughts.
ps. Thanks Krista for staying so late last night!

Amanda
Ok, so I know I have posted a million times already today but here is one more:
Amanda, my friend, also my sister-in-law's sister from Colorado, was out here for a week for her mom's birthday. It was so great! We haven't seen her since Thanksgiving. We hung out on Friday, Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday! And then to my happy surprise, her flight got canceled on Friday so I picked her up at her dad's at 11:00 and she came over and hung out until 3:00! Long night but it was so great! Kevin and the kids went to bed so we had some time to just chat!
Unfortunately her flight was on time on Saturday and I already miss her!
Hopefully I will post some pictures of our week soon...

Employee Picnic

Woot woot!
About 3 or 4 years ago, my mom was kind enough (and maybe a little mean enough) to buy this 6 week body makeover for me. I have tried it 2 or 3 times and have never made it through the second week.
Today is the start of my second week. I still feel very motivated to continue, Kevin measured me and I have lost inches in several different areas and I have lost 6 lbs! I know I won't consistently drop that much every week but I would still be thrilled with 1-2 lbs a week. It keeps up the motivation for sure!
Also, I get rewards every week for my weight loss. This week is a new headband (I am easily amused!) and after 6 weeks, I get a digital camera!
I think I will start posting pictures every couple of weeks and we will see if anyone notices a difference. Kevin swears he can tell but I haven't yet. That is ok.
Have a good day!

So I am not sure what it is about the van but this morning I has turning onto Eastern and completely ran over the curb. I didn't just hit it, I ran over it. I looked behind me and realized that Pat, a lady I work with, and her daughter were right behind me. Nice!
They were in the kitchen later so I asked if they saw me run over the curb and Pat said, "Was that you?! We did see that and I said to Jenna, "Oh that was good."" Super nice!
Oh well.
This afternoon is our employee picnic and I think I am the only one excited about it. Makes me worry....
How can it not be fun though? There is a band, free food and prizes! During work hours!!

Here we go!
Thank you Krista for getting me started in the blog world! You really are young and cool!
So I guess if I am blogging, I should talk about my days huh?
Here is a great one:
Monday while I was at work, I was walking up the stairs and totally bit it. Right onto my stomach. And of course there was someone standing at the top of the stairs. As I lay there, I was thinking about how I can't believe it took 3 weeks for me to do something like that. Well at least it is over right?! Ha ha! I realized that was not the case when I went to the bathroom later and realized I had toilet paper hanging out my backend ! SWEET!
